Services built for how you work.
We offer fractional Operations and HR Support designed to fit your business, not the other way around. Whether you need one service area or more comprehensive support, we build it to work.
Recruitment
The wrong hire is expensive. A vacant seat is too. Finding the right person for a senior, technical, or hard-to-fill role takes time, expertise, and a network that most growing businesses don't have in-house.
We start by building a clear picture of what you actually need, then go find it. That means understanding the role, the team dynamics, and what success looks like before we start looking. We recruit across Canada and are licensed in BC, Ontario, and internationally. Our international recruitment license allows us to present non-Canadian applicants. We are not limited by geography when the right person matters more than convenience, and our licensed RCIC (Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant) can help you bring them in.
The result is a shorter search, a stronger hire, and a process that doesn't consume your leadership team's time.
Compensation
A Compensation plan that wasn't designed intentionally can create problems over time. The Pay Transparency Act has changed the way businesses build and share compensation in Canada, and pay equity gaps that were once theoretical can now create legal and reputational risk.
We work from private salary data gathered through direct industry relationships and proprietary sources across Canada. Our recommendations reflect pay in comparable roles and markets, not what job postings suggest or what public tools estimate. We balance that market intelligence against your budget, your team structure, and the total rewards approach that will attract the right people.
When compensation is working, it becomes a tool for attracting and keeping the right people rather than a recurring problem to manage.
Fractional Human Resources
Most growing businesses reach a point where the informal approach to HR stops working. Policies are inconsistent, and compliance gaps are showing up. The team is asking questions and no one knows the answer because consistent policies don’t exist yet.
We build the HR infrastructure your business needs to operate legally, consistently, and well. Policies, handbooks, onboarding, performance frameworks, compliance, and the ongoing people operations work that keeps everything running. We work inside your business, learn how it operates, and build what it actually needs rather than dropping in a generic system.
The outcome is an HR foundation that protects the business, supports the team, and scales as you grow.

Organizational change is not just a planning problem, it is a people problem. Whether you are restructuring, growing, navigating a leadership transition, or working to align your day-to-day operations with your mission and values, the way you bring your team through it determines whether it sticks.
We work across operations and workforce planning, organizational design, and intentional communications so that people understand what is changing and why their work still matters. That includes developing and rolling out mission, vision, and values in ways that show up in practice, not just on paper, and managing large-scale transitions with the clarity and honesty that keeps good people committed through uncertainty.

Do we need to use all four services, or can we start with just one?
You can start with whatever you actually need. Some clients come in for one specific thing and never add more. Others start with one service and expand as the business grows. We don’t push scope you don’t need.
How do we know which service is the right starting point?
Most clients have a sense of where the pressure is, even if they are not sure what the solution looks like. In a dream world we start with an internal audit of your people and policies, but we also recognise that that isn’t a priority for everyone. So we start with a conversation. There’s very little that we haven’t seen before.
What size of business do you typically work with?
There is no fixed size, but most of our clients are small to medium sized businesses, (typically between 20-200 employees, or 1-10M ARR) that have outgrown their informal approach to HR and operations. Small enough that a full-time senior leader might not be the right move, or their current internal team is pushed past their level of experience and bandwidth. Large enough that doing nothing is starting to cost them.
How do you structure your fees?
It depends on the engagement. Some work is project-based with a fixed scope. Other engagements are ongoing and structured around a retainer. We talk through the right structure when we understand what you need.
How quickly can you get started?
Usually fairly quickly. We don’t have a long onboarding process on our end. Reach out, tell us what’s happening, and we’ll work out a timeline from there.
